A historical model

Founded in the 1960s on a circular model, Linex has used by-products from the wood industry and products from local flax cultivation since its inception. The plant valorizes the unused natural resources of partner industries, which become raw materials. The model is being extended with the integration of recycled wood into the manufacturing process.

Circular use of resources

Unused or recycled wood offcuts and flax shives from Normandy, which make up Linex boards, are natural materials with renewable and recyclable properties. They embody a circular use of resources and are at the heart of the plant’s know-how.

The main stages in board manufacturing

The manufacture of a Linex board requires a number of operations to be carried out in continuous succession on one of Europe’s largest automated production lines.
